I find the Official backing system in the elections UI confusing.  I have no idea if I'm throwing support to a group or not. 


I understand the click the group you want.   But I don't know if I'm supposed to click the backing button to turn backing ON or OFF.   There is nothing that says which is which. 


What is worse is, with the surprise results in elections, I haven't been able to determine which is which by trying it either way.


This UI element needs to be clarified much better perhaps with a toggle or two choices, one To Officially Back, one Not to.
