Currently, faction quests conclude partway through the game, but your faction's outro cutscene doesn't play until you finish, usually a significant gap.


A final stage in each faction's questline could help these coincide more closely. In the finale. the player would be offered a choice of which victory condition they want to pursue. The options available would depend on which suit the faction best (ex. Wonder for Riftborn, Science for Sophons), and possibily which route they took in their questline. The objective for the faction questline's finale would then correspond to one of the game's victory conditions.


This would not lock the player out of other victory types, or force them to complete the faction quests before achieving victory. It would also not necessarily end in victory (ex. if that victory condition is disabled or the player is in an alliance), but it is likely to.
