I love this game. If there is one thing I love to do in 4X games, it is to zoom out and look at the size of my empire versus that of my rivals. Yet in ES2 the borders are sometimes too transparent, with the galaxy colour obscuring border sizes. 


It would be nice to at least have the option, when zooming out to view the galaxy and looking at the diplomatic view, to have the faction colours coloured clearly. Or alternatively, an outline of the borders could be done in bold colours with the galaxy still peering through within the borders themselves.
