Spectating Other Space battles

I love the space battles for its cinematic feel to it, but I feel it's such a shame that I'm limited to just my own battles, single-player or multiplayer. I'd love if I had the option to view any battles within my vision, AI or other players, especially allied ones. I already know who won the battle since I can see the fleets and their stats, so it won't really give anything away if they're not even in an Alliance with me.

This would be an even greater feature in multiplayer, where if there's any player who decides to view a fight, whether I simply see the area they initiate it in or I'm in an Alliance with them, I can enjoy it as a spectator too. This would be great as the space battles have obviously been put much work into and it's a shame when you can't fully enjoy them in multiplayer.
