Hello 


I wanted to suggest something that is I guess important in strategy games. I mean Defeating Factions (Empire,Sophos itc.). 


When we want to fight more aggressively like "Destroying a race that we don't like (yes Cravers I mean you .... or Lunar ...)" we can't because everytime we will capture their every system, they will appear in another and it's going to be irritating when you really don't like them in this match (because in everymatch they have different vision as I saw) 


I'm thinking about adding an quest that says about Faction that is in bad condition political or military so we can choose to help this Faction or not and this decision can cause a big risk (or this Faction can attack us he will gain in power or help us when he will repair his political and military government)


I'm waiting for your opinion about this proposition. :3

OH boy it's been a long time since the last edit Woah ... Well at least a have some ideas about this "little BIG quest".


What ? Little BIG quest ? What do you mean ?


Little bigger than it was in the beggining for many fractions + more involvement from pirat (interactions like black market etc.)



UNITED EMPIRE


Well those guys are pretty though and they want only Power Over People (like in real world for example North Korea or old time in World War 2 ZSRR and 3 Reich). 


So we can use here 2 scenerio. First would be about the ABSOLUTE POWER CONTROLE (Long quest chain about dominating 1-2 Fractions - pretty hard quest but hey we have here hardcore players to) and the next one is more for people that belive Emperor is not that bad and he can change because of the people motions about human laws FINAL JUDGEMENT (Short but emotinal quest chain )


ABSOLUTE POWER CONTROLE



1 Step "My fall"



The sytuation doesn't look good in Empire (people are manifestating even more with "old Empire Generals" showing that they won't handle it anymore and they can do even more with help from other Fractions)

Consultants says that I (Emperor) need to talk to them about actual law and change my behavior or I can ignore them and do what I want because I rule this Empire not them !!!! I need t a time to think about this pain in the ass 



Talk with "Old Generals" about changes in the law OR Command best squad and controle the sytuation with violence



2 Step  "Inside Rebeliants"



I fell something strange in my area ... Consultants doesn't talk to me only few of them are acting normally but the rest ... I guess I cannot trust anybody ANYMORE cause of this funny decision I do pretty often ... Where is the loyal man I can trust in this time ... "picking up the cup with wine" nothing is better than wine with the view of the dark sky thinking about what can I do now ? What can I change ? Why do I need to change it ? I hate those days ... I hate this sod of a night.



Hire spies to check every employees - it ends in 3 Step with 50-50% of succeed (Success you know is leading Inside Rebeliants and you gain + for Military politicy with Upgrade for soldiers (Absolute Lesson : +25% Dmg for soldiers Automatically went to Step 4) (Fail you stay still in 3 Step with rebellion in your country)


Let soldiers check them - With violence it's 100% that people will improve their rebellion but you'll gain + to Military politicy, more visible loyalty from soldiers (+ restoring human resources "MORE SOLDIERS") 


Do it by yourself - People are going to be more open and sociable. Changing their thoughts about you is a really big improvement to stifle rebelians (+ to Economy politicy, +20% Population Mood)


Step "It's time for some changes"



I still cannot trust everybody but finally I've did some improvement to solve rebellion but still I need more menpower to do a BIG step. I want finally make this Great War that will give me more power and more people to lead. Bigger power is a big responsibility but with my "Loyal Consultants" we can do everything. But which Empire should I attack to get as much dust as I can? I want to be immortal and being immortal is no longer a dream but a reality.



Use survivors to increase your menpower - From the 2nd Step Failure. Disappearing rebels will join Emperor (New Hero, + Military politicy)


Try to encourage people - You need to play like a good Empire for a while until you will gain your dreams (+ Economy politicy, +25% Industry for every system)


4 Step "Dream a little dream"



Ufff ... I've got people I've got weapons so the last thing I need to do is telling the people that we deserve a better place for us and our children. One guy said me that 1st milion you need to steal but for me I need to steal dust more than milion ... The only way to steal it is WAR and this WAR will be the biggest war that even Endless didn't saw ever. It's time for Great Empire !


Final work - Destroy and assimilate 1 Faction (with more than 6 Factions you need to destroy 2 Factions)


For good version of this Big Quest you need to wait because I don't have much time but I want your opinion about this TOTAL STORY about our good drunk Emperor and his future plans. See ya soon guys ;3 Stay still with the rest Fractions

Destroying could be also useful if you don't want to exceed colonization limit. If I remember correctly, so far it's possible only with tech of last military grade

That's true but think about playing multi or single. When you are bored you want to get some adrenaline. Destroying Fractions would be really nice as a quest (BIG QUEST : with many steps of helping or stopping their returing to society (World Trading , Global Government itc)


Or quest about Mini Factions attacking Big Factions "It will be activated when you colonize min. 1 Mini Faction"

By attacking I mean inside battle (terrorist group inside your empire or enemy empire send some people to destroy your economy inside)

The most worth Mini Factions would be the most dangerous because of the benefits it has.

So this would be similar to revamping alliances within the game, only in this case, the quest could lead to a coalition of factions possibly teaming up against a certain Faction, let's say, the United Empire, and in the end, gaining bonuses (possible Dust/Tech/Weapons Modules/System Improvements/Etc) ORRR -> Factions are given the option of economically assisting an empire, possibly through loans of dust/strategic or luxury resources/(if politically assisting then it would be Influence) and towards the end of the quest you would gain a certain bonus that would probably tie into the lore of the two factions. 


This could be similar to the quest to find the Endless planet of Syakoja (I butchered the spelling whoops) where you hand over resources to the Sophoni researcher and the reward is the location of the planet, but instead, this is a collaborative quest over a longer period of time. 


Your idea also seems to hint at possibly a different option of capturing planets, so instead of just occupying them, you can raze the system (similar to when you vacate your own system) so it makes expansion into enemy territory/space easier and speeds up the process of destroying another faction. 


The Devs could also include an Assimilate option so at the end of a war you can peacefully take over all remaining enemy systems which could "eliminate" the other faction (*cough* Cravers *cough cough*) from the game completely.
