I wanna feel my faction´s culture in the UI and my empire; more images, for example.

I have a proposal. Sorry for my crappy english; Ill be quick.
Nothing talks about this, but the endless space 1 and 2 have a big problem with his esthetic. Dont misread me, i love the esthetic of the factions; his ships and arquitecture (specially the horatio faction). But this esthetic looks very poorly and scarce in the game.
¿How often we see the esthetic of the factions while playing? only when combat (because we look the ships) and a bit more.

In conclusion. When i play, dont feel my faction. I cant feel be a leader inside of the culture of my team. I only see a aseptic interface and a bit more. I would like see more the arquitecture, the people, the culture and the power of my faction in the game. See more the fruits of my effort playing, not only a lines, numbers and planets. Endless space 2 did a effort, and show more pictures and models, but is not sufficient. Maybe it's a good idea, make a specific UI for each faction, insert more pictures, and do more models of cities, civilians and troops.

Thanks for read and sorry again for my english. I love Endless space, but is difficult for me enjoy the game with this problem.

this would be really difficult for us to do more than what we already do (main quest, events, ships, heroes, leaders...)

Great idea with the UI! I completely agree, although the faction quests do give me my factions ' vibe' , i feel that it is not enough.

So basically, you would like to have custom UI's for the different factions, such as in Starfleet Command. I think it is a great Idea, but I doubt the devs will want to do that. Upvoted anyway.

A complete custom UI for each fasction might be out of reach, but at least some art for certain menues could be "personalized" for the different factions. Menues and message screens you use very often (i.e. pop increase, finished improvements, science window) with faction specific art could improve the "faction feel" greatly.
