I love how the new videos for the newest Factions have really good details on their ships, probably the least noticeable being the UE because they were kinda more generalist and the most noticeable being Voidborn because they have everything super specialized. Could we tweek the first 4 Factions to be the same way? Not huge differences but just slight differences like maybe an extra specific kind of module (offense, defensive, supportive) not only based on ship class but also faction, or at least maybe some more diversification so have the really generalist factions (like UE) have one open slot (able to have one of any module) on early ships or some more options on a few more slots. Would love feedback.


Possibly even an increase in base stats so perhaps the Cravers and Vodyani ships have +50 manpower from the start while Sophan ships have a natural +1 science per defeated CP (maybe thats a little op but you get the idea). Or actually lets give the Sophons extra Probes since they're supposed to explore a lot?

I was thinking the slots on the exploration vessels for Sophons doesn't properly reflect their scientific nature.  they have 2 slots for  support, 2 for attack.  I'd like to see one of those attack slots turned into a hybrid slot (either free slot with all three as options, or an attack/support...so we Sophons can race around with 2 probes, or plod around with 6.)  I  guess their movement advantage does effectively make the 4-probe exploration vessel fairly viable.


I support your ideas.  Maybe you ought to separate them out into distinct ones tho, since I could see someone really liking one of your suggestions, but not another one.

It would be really cool to get updated faction videos in the same format as the new factions that describe the differences between them, including the ships. Cause I think all players would like to know how certain faction ships have an advantage or not.

I feel like if this idea gets any ground then Amp will sort out what they do and don't want :P I think putting all my ideas out on the table for brainstorm is the best for right now.
