Current political output for both sides makes sense (Revivor for religious, Defender for scientific), but I can't help to notice that the representative empires will definitely do the opposite: Voda's "Demon" is assumably the Lost so Voda will prefer them sealed, even if they are religious. On the other hand, Sophon 's recklessness and thirst for knowledge can easily drive them to revive Lost in order to learn from/of them, regardless of the havoc the Lost may wreak.

So how about reverting the political output as well as the narrative such as this:

Revivor(Scientific): Ancient people must have ancient knowledge, why not wake them up and see what they've got?

Defender(Religious): If it have the power of the Deity but is not the Deity, it must be demon. They must kept sealed or the galaxy will be corrupted.
