UI is extremely important. The UI should communicate all the needed info to the player at a glance. I have argued this perspective in several "ideas", where i have posted what i consider to be substantial UI upgrades. In the back of my mind however, there is this nagging feeling that less people see the Ideas page, than the forums here. So ill post here to get rid of that nagging feeling. In ES1, the bonuses that a planet had were revealed for all to see when you zoom into the system. While the zooming in mechanic still exists in ES2, the current ES2 mechanic hides all the super important information from the player, presumably to mimic some unnecessary game of peek-a-boo. Sadly, a player is required to waste time mousing over each individual planet in order to see specifically what each planet contains. Clearly the Devs felt it important that the player knows, and thus recognizes, what planet type something is by making that clearly visible, but everything else is pointlessly obscured. i guess everything else isn't important enough for the player to worry about? Please remove the mouse over mechanic, and just make all the bonus descriptions fully visible, all the time. This will aid in communicating the finer details of a system to a player. The current mechanic is just frustrating.
Devs, plz.
