Improvements and population change the atmosphere

Bonjour tous le monde,


Since we got the planetary scan now, wouldn't it be cool if it had some strategic effect, rather then being a nice little gimmick? 


Now, you got planets with high nitrogen which is totally realistic, but think wouldn't a super refinary increase the amount of carbon dioxid? Or wouldn't the unfallen since they're trees and use Photosynthesis, (because they have green leafs) create oxygen? 


Lorewise the planet earth had once the tripple amount of oxygen, because mold wasn't developped enough to eat away at trees, which would make a planet with 35% oxygen and 65% nitrogen.


Having this effect would be cool, it should also effect your gameplay, either giving benefits or the opposite, like easier improvement destruction when you have a high oxygen atmosphere, because buildings burn more easily.

Hello,


I just wanted to add something to my idea. Instead of just changing the atmosphere, how about you can destroy your planets by not taking care of the. For example, you built one planet full of money maker improvements and neglect the environmental ones totaly, then your planet scan might reveal to you your planet core is destabelizing because to many resourcers are being harvested and if you don't build the right environmental impro, your planet goes BOOM!


This all could bring a brand new gameplay experience.
