Don't really like any of them something like Cidra (Deceit in javanese iirc) appeals more to me. But Im no name smith so I guess Sjena gets my vote. Nexus is too generic. And "The Loop" is. well yeah.

After findingthe translation, voted for Sjena. All names makes sense, but that one sounds different from a tipical sci-fi b series episode.

I went for the loop personally, it's so straight forward that if I had to nickname or call something that looked like that it would just be the loop. Sjena's meaning is too on the nose for their home.

Everyone keeps hating on The Loop, but it keeps reminding me of 'Tales from the Loop', a fantastic art book about the srange technological consequences from the development and use of a particle accelerator (The Loop). 

But then I looked up nexus too. At first i wasn't sure either, since it also reminds me of the Protoss. But I actually looked it up, since I knew it also meant stuff in computing. Turns out the definition in latin can be 'something which binds (bonds, obligates, fastening)'. This hits several different lore points for me, as it's their link to the physical world, also their mission to 'end the suffering'. 

Basically, if the rings are fixed, The Loop sounds pretty good to me. if they're rotating, the nexus feels better. 

I like Nexus but I voted for Sjena simply because Nexus reminds me too much of the Protoss Nexus from Starcraft 1 and 2 (it especially reminds me of the Nerazim, due to the whole void-esq similarities), and because, in my opinion, there are too many English-oriented names in the game. Alien, especially non-humanoid aliens, don't feel as unique when important names within the factions are as simple as "Nexus". Like the Vodyani would be totally different if their name was, "Space-Vampire" and their home system (instead of Tchinomy) was "The Shadow World". 

Nexus from me. It feels a bit generic, but I'm not really into this eastern-european-inspired stuff. Especially in case of a faction like this. Totally not from this world, extremely advanced, etc. Just... no.  And as someone has already said, we already have Vodyani having a similarly themed name (stronk english:D not sure if it's correct). In fact my problem is not that it's european. But that it generally just connects to something we already know. That name simply doesn't reflect the traits of this faction, in my opinion.

And Sjena has a meaning. The first time I got to know about this vote - without knowing the contestants -, I was like "yeahh, seeing some epic-sounding but absolutely fantasy (without meaning) names would be cool".

Also the name Sjena doesn't sound quite serious for me. Sounds kind of "weak". Nexus feels far more powerful, the world has always ment something technologically advanced for me - from before the time I knew the meaning of the word.

So... certainly a Nexus from me, not a Sjena.

Sjena! I like names that are a bit more original.

I'm voting for Nexus. It is a straightforwardly appropriate choice as others have already described.

Sjena is good too, but I feel like most people will not know that it's an actual word in a non-English language, and so the impact of its meaning will be mitigated. And yeah, it sounds like a ship class to me.

"The Loop" sounds like a slang term UE explorers/engineers would have for the superstructure. Neat and all, and in a way I like it, but not impressive enough to describe the home system of a faction in a new galaxy.

Neat visual for the home system by the way! I hope it has cool audio when you zoom in on it.

I´ll go with Nexus as it fits a bridge between their way of existence and the physical universe as the other races experience it.

I'm going to go with Sjena as well, it sounded the best even before I found out what it means. Nexus is alright of a name, but The Loop is a bit odd, almost comical. It would have been nice to have a real third option.
