Welcome to the new Games2Gether platform!

After the initial confusion (where are my g2g points, where are my games, etc..) I have to say that I like this new format.

The new badge/g2g points system is simpler and clearer than the previous badge/achievement/experience/g2g points system, and that's a very good thing.

I have three comments/questions:

1) The old system had more forum-related achievements (i.e. number of messages, number of created threads...); will this features added gradually?

2) In the old Games2Gether part of the site, each game had a short description and a work progress page; right now I can't find them, it could be useful to have them back in the new homepage.

3) I searched, but I cannot find a link in the site to get back to the homepage...

There was a fourth thing I noticed yesterday, but I completely forgot it...

Of course all this comments are related to the present Alpha version

I didn't know this site existed until the Sega announcement today, where have I been!? I love the Endless series, looking forward to contributing via this site over the coming years.

New website is pretty neat. Nice work. I noticed that my account says that I have not participated on any G2G votes. Is that a bug or do the votes on the old platform not carry over?

It looks exceptionally good, pretty good design actually but honestly I loved the responsiveness and simplicity of old forums. This kinda feels like moving from Win 7's UI to Win 8's Metro UI.

Votes did not carry over, so you'll have to pay attention to the new ones when they're up! 

Super news , for an epic game

I'm looking forward to seeing this all up and running, and I like the separation between the different games as it allows you to look at a specific games development

I love the new Games2Gether platform. Very good job.

Same here.

I realy liked how easy it was in the old forum to see what the recent posts were and what your friends posted. (Lets see how the new friend system will look like)

and

I realy like the new platform only the "newsfeed"  for the most recent posts is a bit underwhelming and not as nice,clear and handy as the old one.

Also I miss the option to link very specfic posts on a thread for example post number XX from thread X.

It was realy handy. Its alpha but I wonder if that option is gone for good.

New design is strange, will need some time to get used to it :)

We're aware of all of this, we've some ideas of all to handle all of this issue, and you should be able to give your opinions on all this :)

1- We've decided to remove this kind of achievements, mainly because it encourage spamming, and one word's post that are not very usefull.
2- That's definitely something we want to bring back, but better than ever.
3- This page is temporary, that's why we don't want you to get used to it :p

Hi there, I have endless legend Emperor Edition, all dlc, and the same situation for the two other Endless games. However, I only have the basic badge for ES and ED, and don't even have the badge for EL. Help?

It can take up to a full day before all badges are unlocked, we'll enhance that. It should be ok for you now.

The new badge system is really nice, though, they're large enough that you can actually see what they are now!

edit: The site seems a bit slow to respond atm, but I'm assuming that's just because it just launched. Can't get the steam link to work, and anything I type takes a few seconds to show up. 

We're still on alpha, there is a lot of works still to do, especially on the profile yes :)

Some features are gone for now (friendlist is a good example), but should be back in time, maybe completely redesigned.

Some pages may appears a bit slow, preformance are one of our top priority, as you say, we've just launch the platform so it could take some time to adjust everything.

I don't think I ever posted on the previous platform but this one looks cool :) A bit busy, maybe, with all the menu things all around every page you visit, but I guess I can get used to that.

I also am unable to link a Steam account and consequently the fact that I bought Endless Legend since I last logged in (I think I'm supposed to be able to do that? I remember it counting towards my g2g score that I bought Endless Space and expansions but once again, I might be misremembering things)

Anyway, great to see you back online, good luck ironing out all the things.

Is that ok that I didn't get PLAY2GETHER badge (I was part of closed betas for both Shifters and Shadows)? Also why all avatars are locked for me? Any info/tooltip would help, because I have no idea.

hey there. the design looks GREAT! love the work put into it! must have taken a whole lot of ajax development :)

anyway, i have the same situation as greyzombie. i partisipated in the closed beta of the shifters and dont have that reward. and is it normal that i dont have any avatars? if yes, what to do to unlock those?

+1 on the locked Avatars thingy ...

Then there are some issues with saving profile information (I spotted some HTTP 500 errors in the browser console ...).

And finally, there are also some badges regarding voting on G2G (did that quite a few times ...), which are locked now.

But I guess that it's all Alpha now, and that it'll get sorted in a few weeks.

It's decent on computers, but it's horrible on mobile. Hope that gets fixed...

Also, why does everyone have more points than I do, considering that I've been with Amp's forums since the VERY beginning?

The Steam issue should be fixed now, there is a strange behaviour with the Steam API while using HTTPS, everything should be alright now.

Did the G2G Points get changed? I don't actually recall being at 3000 before the swap...

The new plateform is really nice! Great job!

Most of my stuff is reset but not all. For example, I had all games registered but now it says I have none.

Wow, the old site was simple and the new one looks futuristic. Few bugs, but nothing critical as for now (well, its in alpha).

Can i reclaim some rewards that were lost during account transition?
