I'm a loyal Endless Space player from China and also a host of Chinese ES forum.We have many members who love this game and even absorbed in it,but now their love is influenced with such a big difficult:They cannot play the game in their language.The unofficial language pack is too old to fit the new version of Endless Space.So when 1.1.48 released,only someone who are good at English can enjoy the new fantastic design in game.But those who are unfamiliar with English will

unfortunately quit the game,or lost in the sea of English explanation.

So we are desire official Chinese language pack to get away with the horrible experience that play an loved game with unfamiliar language.

We can translate the localisasion file into Chinese.All we need are some technological support to add a language pack to the game.

I believe that this game is so great that it will be a total pity to be buried in China only because some language problem.So,would you give us some help？

I'm glad to see there are still Chinese fans interested in this game and thanks for your reply.



I bought this game during Steam Christmas(Thanksgiving?) Sale with Endless Legend.



Like DUSTBEE said, Chinese players had localized ES in Chinese but it's overdue after updates. I tried replacing some phrases in localization *.xml files, but in-game character is only a blank. I think there must be certain font issues need to be solved beforehand. I guess your focus has shift to new projs like Endless Legend, so the current ES version could survive for a long time before next vital update, if you can release official Chinese version.



And I think that wouldn't be too much work. We can use translation available in unofficial language packs and update it to current version. All we need is make the translation show correctly in game. I can provide the unofficial translations if you need it.
