I regularly see AI (or pirate) fleets that seem to disappear miraculously. I can see them leave for a certain planet, and I put a fleet on guard at that planet, in interception/guard mode, but then the enemy fleet never arrives. Am I the only one seeing this?

That's odd. Perhaps the AI scrapped its fleets?



The only disappearing fleets I saw was when they tried to retreat from a blockaded system, and all other neighboring systems around are also blockaded by my fleets. I assume it is because of the encirclement that fleets disappear.
