I've never had a problem with ES being unstable.

Complex factions ala Endless Legend, and increased manipulation of units during battles (while still keeping the general flow of the original). Can't wait to see the new one.

How much multi-player have you played? If quite a bit, I wonder why it works well for you but not for me and my friend. (About a third of our games become too corrupt to continue.)
