In anticipation of Endless Space 2, I have recently returned to playing Endless Space 1, and found myself thinking that starting a succession game to pass the time between GDD releases might be fun.



The galaxy would be set to huge size and highest density, and age, planet size, and number of planets would all be set to one of the edge values, to deviate as far as possible from the standard galaxy. Difficulty would remain at hard, to not bar any less experienced players, unless all involved agree to raise it.



Would anybody be interested in such a succession game with regular screenshot and text AAR when the game is handed over every 20 to 30 turns?

• Preferred Faction
• Disharmony: Yes/No (Note if you do not own Disharmony)
• Preferred Galaxy Shape
• Fixed or random enemies?

That sounds like it'd be fun! My preferred faction would usually be a custom one, but in this case I'd be fine with Vaulters or Sophons. I've got Disharmony and wouldn't wanna play a game without it, I really prefer Spiral because that usually works best if you have the right amount of players, Random for Extra REKT, and I'd be totally fine with hard.

Well, then let's hope we can get anybody else interested. Two of us is a good start, but I think we'd need at least four or five people to really get the chaos of a succession game going.
