Hi. I'm about to buy the new expansion, but I haven't just yet.



My question is: have any graphical improvements been made to the strategic map? Just curious

Not really, there are some changes to technology & the addition of a new race as well as fighters and bombers in combat. However, the game looks very much like before.



That said, it's worth getting Disharmony. Even if you don't like the new combat, there are mods for the DLC to change that.
