Hello people!

Me being myself, I was going through the English localization files, and came across some entries that I have yet to see in game. I've decided to share my discovery with the forums, and will be adding content I find to this thread.



To start us off, some rediscovered Strategic Resources:

• Dark Energy: designated as the 9th Strategic Resource, only referred to in tech tooltips
• Neutronium: designated as the 10th Strategic Resource, only referred to in tech tooltips
  
  

Some game options I have yet to find UI to control:



-Game Speed

• Very Slow
• Very Fast
  
  

-Galaxy Generation Settings

• Constellation Shape: with variables "Linear", "Normal", and "Grid"
• Anomalies and temples: same function as the resource abundance setting, but for A & T
• A duplicate of "Disk - 4", but the description is worded differently
  
  

Traits:

• Hunger for Battle(+) and Gun Shy(-): Gains/loses module damage and Battle Actions per each enemy fleet in system
• Ubiquitous Metals(+): Listed as an economy trait, would generate the "metallic waters" anomaly on homeworld
• Cautious(-): Negative counterpart of Naive
• Prime Fleet(?): Something to do with starting fleet
  
  

I'll add one little aspect here that I hope they will actually use for ES2:

- Constellation names. I found them in the localization files, I believe. And it's possible they're still present in the galaxy generation, too. But they never show up anywhere in the game. I think constellation names would be really helpful for some players when it comes to remembering where different systems that show up in the turn summary are.

"A cruiser finished on Taurus in the Cancer constellation. Good, that constellation borders the cravers."

Take another look at this GDD and you'll see that constellations are playing a more important role in Endless Space 2:
