Necromancers faction ideas

Cool! I would like to see both factions.
I would like to see the Kirin Syndicate in the game.
I would like to see the Serezind Empire in the game.

There are 2 factions that I have really given thought to and would like that one day these two or maybe 2 very similar to these two will be included in this phenomenal game.



So here they are (2 threads because of the image limit):



Concept art is not mine and I do not take any credit or responsibility for it, it is just used to show what I have in mind for these factions.



Serezind Empire:



Description:



Once they where not so much unlike the Sophons, a race that thirsts for knowledge and discovering new frontiers in science. But unlike the Sophons they have no moral boundaries and scruples.



On the Serezind home-world science and religion are one of the same, they give them selves completely to science and do anything and everything to achieve more knowledge and with that more power.



After the Endless disappeared from the known space a Serezind frontier team of scientists discovered a planet literally boiling with dust, that is when they discovered the augmentative powers and uses of dust and so began the endless Serezind Empire crusade to acquire more dust and with it more knowledge, more power. Nothing ever matters to the Serezind but to acquire dust and augment them selves.



With Dust they became masters of machinery and mutant-biology, the whole race was separated into two casts, the ruling cast of scientists are augmented with dust and have merged their bodies with machinery becoming cyborgs with mechanical various vile mechanical upgrades and mutations. The other are servs, those that where not deemed worthy for dust and upgrade, they are used as the work force and armie of the empire. They are given various mutations so that they can serve better.



The Serezind ships are a terrifying site, the art of mutation and gene manipulation was so perfected and merged with their mechanical genius that they now grow their half mechanical, half organic ships. They resemble bugs but if bugs where the size of cities, with shell as hard as titanium.



Their quest for dust and knowledge is never-ending and they will stop at nothing to gain ultimate knowledge and ultimate power.

New: Genetically Engineered Loyalty -50 smiley: approval on a system that is taken by the enemy, +25 smiley: approval if the system is retaken.

New: Dust Trance: A research is done instantly at the cost of 5000 smiley: dust with the exception of Pangalactic Society that will cost 500000 smiley: dust.

The Kirin Syndicate:



Description: Pirates, looters, slave traders, scum of the Galaxy, are just a few words to describe the Kirin Syndicate. The Kirin are the most deceitful race found in the galaxy but there is honour amongst them and they respect people with the same pirate-like views, so the syndicate was born. While mostly composed of Kirin there are rouge Sophons, Humans, Hissho and various other races amongst them. The universe is full of treasure and acquisitions to be made and the Kirin Syndicate will be there to grab it by the planets!



That said they are extraordinary pilots adept more to smaller and agile fighters than larger battleships.

Traits:



Kirin Syndicate Affinity: Fighters and Bombers do 15% more damage and are 20% harder to hit than usual.

New: Looters: There is a 25% chance after each battle X amount of smiley: industry or smiley: science will be had on empire for 5 turns;

New: Masters of Stealth: Ships cannot be seen by the enemy unless by another ship;

New: Slave Traders: 1 smiley: stickouttongueopulation: can be exchanged for 100 dust.

Ummm.. But this isn't modding, it's a suggestion for official faction inclusion.



Or am I in the wrong place? If I am, I beg the modders to transfer this thread where it should be and I apologise for my lack of knowledge of forum rules.

But in my opinion if the price was higher than it would be unbalances a smidge.
