It appears the cost to clone heroes has been changed at some point. Costs use to be the same as hiring a new hero. Now to clone my second hero costs 320 dust instead of 80. He is level 5, which he gained fairly quickly and at this stage of the game 320 dust is a fairly far out of reach amount. If cost grows by level using this ability my remain out of reach.

hmm ya this is a problem since you cant turn off hero leveling to hold you heros at a level where its affordable to clone them. Since disharmony has anyone ever had the money to afford to clone a hero? It may even be impossible to clone at the moment.

I think the alternative is a little too easy to hero hammer your way through the game. I notice the costs were much higher but a level 25 administrator corporate guy is worth 2000 dust. Just set taxes to 100% for a few turns.

This was in vanilla I believe, as to prevent you from easily closing a level 10 admin hero.
