I agree with this. In Endless Legend you always have at least one hero from your race to choose if you want. Many factions in the game don't seem likely to recruit mercenaries.

I don't agree with any of this. Who said they are mercenaries? Maybe they're converts to my cause.

What would be cool is if you defeat a faction and you get 1-2 of their heroes based on various factors.
