I feel like it might be a good idea for ships to display a round by round indicator of weapon statistics (Like damage produced, and accuracy) and defense statistics (Like shield hp, and the number of deflections available) for each ship when highlighted.
This way players can observe how their defenses and weapons are shaping up on a round by round basis.
I get to caught up in the cinematic to want numbers myself so if they do add them they need an additional option to hide them. I just watch to see if the other guy is dying faster then me and as long as he is I am happy. lol
