[Suggestion] Planet evolution/visible population

Hi all

Don't know if this has been expressed before, i didn't find out.

When planets gain population, we can see some differences, like shuttle in the sky. But it is really discrete. As I imagine it, when a planet has five pops, it means millions, billions maybe, of inhabitants.

In my opinion, it would be cool to see great metropoles along coasts, traces of massive energy domes which protect population on barren worlds, etc etc... (even maybe with differences between the races)

It's just a detail, but I feel it means a lot for immersion.

I may have said this in a similar thread, but space stations, satellites and ships entering and leaving orbit would be really awesome.

I think this already happens in game as the planet develops.

I don't remember seeing it and I had a planet with 8 pop.

Could just be me being dumb, though.

Indeed it happens but very slightly. A shuttle here and there, some lights at surface...It's beautiful, but I feel it's not enough to really attach to our worlds.

Underwater metropolis? It could happen :P. I'll have to pay attentionm next time i play to watch out for this.
