The galaxy looks nice, but in my opinion lacks a 3D element.

The gamemap is flat because a third dimension doesn't really add to the gameplay. Unlike in games like SOTS where not all races have "nodelines" and the ones who do have even more lines.



I prefer it this way to be honest. Nice with an easy to read galaxy map.
