ENDLESS™ Space is a turn-based 4X strategy game, covering the space colonization age in the ENDLESS™ Universe. You control every aspect of your civilization as you strive for galactic dominion.
Instead of having to select a specific faction, have an option to let the computer chose one of the eight factions at random.
(This is not about randomly generated factions.)
Reasons for this:
- in games i prefer a challenge given by the game to one i created myself (at least every now and then)
- makes exploring more interesting when you don't know what factions the other players have

DISCLAIMER: I find it hard to believe this hasn't been suggested yet, but there is only one mentioning of random in the summary thread and different combinations of "random", "faction", "race" and "player" yielded no fitting results in the search.
I like this. It shouldn't be that hard for the devs to throw in (then again, I don't know coding, so it may be), and it would make games more interesting. Then again, all the games I've been playing lately include every race, just for the full Endless Space feeling, but still...
It would be an interesting way to do multiplayer. You join a lobby and start a game not knowing who you'll start as.
