I think heros ought to be race specific.. I mean how is it that i play as the Horatios (peeps who are all about cloning) and i dont have one god damn Horatio hero? I think at least the first three heros should be from ur race with at least 1 admin and 1 commander..

Thoughts?

My opinion would be that you should always have 2 of your own race and one of another race in your opening pool with 1 colony leader, 1 fleet leader, and one random.

i think limiting the race could work, i certainly see a problem with lore when cravers have human heroes

That's, as far as I can tell, the first time it was brought up. But just to state my opinion, I agree. At the very least, you shouldn't be seeing Heroes of another race until you've at least made first contact with that race.
