Now that you have little glowing cities on planets as well as orbital platforms would it be difficult to add planetary bombardment.



I don't mean anything crazy just when a system is being invaded and you enter the system view and look at an individual planet you can see miniture ships floating around the planet letting loose with missiles and then explosions on the surface kind of like the halo reach advert (missile impact followed by large radius).



I just think it would look amazing if this could be implemented and maybe whilst you watch the orbital platforms explode or something.



does anyone know if the developers have this kind of thing in mind I couldn't find mention of it before?
