This is an option that would generally apply to single-player. I like to manually assign Battle Cards, but at a point where I'm fighting a couple of battles per turn, I start choosing Autoresolve, even though I know it may not be as effective as doing it myself, just because I can't be bothered to sit through the slow-paced battle. Some kind of button that allows to fast forward the battle or skip to the next phase would not go amiss.

Seconded. That would be awesome! I mean the battles look really cool and all, but when you have a couple scouts run into a pirate fleet and you spam retreat cards, it's not all that epic. All you want is to get it over with ASAP :P

Perhaps they should add a 3rd option for non-graphical representation.



What this would do: It would keep you on the empire screen, but you would still have access to the manual battle options available to choose and the battle plays out instantly each time you select a card rather than having to load the battle screen 9-10 times a turn.
