I just don't find the current card based system for space combat very exciting, I would much prefer real time battles where I can control my fleets directly. Is this possible to add or has the game development progressed too far to change this?

NO NO NO NO NO. This thankfully is not total war or a RTS game. Keep the current non homeworld like REAL tbs combat please. Gah first people have no respect for cinematics and then they keep trying to change a tbs game to a rts one. Sigh what is it with the younger generation of gamers?

Revamp battle System X




Changes to the combat system have been suggested before, and the devs have already decided that it won't be revamped/changed. What we have is what we get, more or less.
