I think two things this game is lacking are incredibly simple things that could be implemented quite easily. [Notaprogrammer,soI'mprobablywrong.]



1. A button on assorted menus in the game to allow you to write stuff down in-game on a notepad. Such as a little button at the top part of the screen when you're in the System/Planetary view that lets you note something about a certain planet. "Don't colonize Galafair II until you ahve tech x to terraform it up." etc etc.



2. A queue log. Some way to simply tell what was built where and on what turn. I'd love it if the chat box that already existed had a second tab when you pressed Enter/click the button and it'll show a simple list of all the things you built, like so;

Thank you for listening. I genuinely love this game, it's the first Sci-Fi game I've really gotten into the lore and history and little mechanics of. As a fantasy player, I rarely enjoy games like this, but the development team's outlook on how to create their game and how they support the most important aspect, the people playing it, really brings a tear to my eye. 1.) I suppose the devs could add this, but...You could also just get a pen/pencil and a notepad and keep it by your desk as well.



2.) Why would we need this? I just don't see how a queue log would be useful. We already have the notifications when construction is finished, and if you're thinking it could be used to see which systems build things faster, just go into the empire view, and sort your system list my Industry.

As of point 2, this is a composite suggestion and is moved to the archives.



To the content: Neither has been suggested, yet, but neither is very helpful, in my opinion. A notepad might be a "nice to have", while the second suggestion about the building queue log... why? You have a summary each turn and whatever you built exists in the galaxy, until scrapped or shot down.
