If you have a dozen queued buildings or ships and you want to add something on top as a priority, you currently have to add it, then start dragging it from bottom to top which is a bit of a pain.
We should be able to keep a key pressed, such as CTRL, to just click the building and have it appear on top instantly.
Another solution to the problem would be to be able to drag and drop buildings from their list to anywhere in the queue, but pressing CTRL would be a easier feature to implement. Ideally both should be possible though.
I agree that this is an area that warrants a UI shortcut, given the 'surface area' of the queue is so small and a single fleet build order swamps it many times over.
I worry that Control+Left Click is already assigned an important role in selection modification in both Windows and so many other areas of the UI. I prefer the drag and drop into the queue solution, if it could be implemented while retaining the functionality of the single click as well.
