Hi, total newbie to forum and the game however really loving what's there so far and looking forward to seeing (helping/suggesting too hopefully) where the game ends up at release.



I had a couple of questions, my first I found and answer for in the Tech forum (couldn't delete pre-selected research once I'd realised I'd gone horribly wrong so had to abandon that game I was playing, from what I found there is a work around?)



The problem I came up with was in the planets production queue, I had a colony ship 1 turn from completion and I left clicked (as you do) to see what sort of screen I'd get and *poof* it was gone, production cancelled, no more colony ship 1 turn from completion just the next item in the build queue!!



I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if that's how you cancel an item from the build queue. If its the latter I would have really like a pop up warning me I was about to cancel that build with a "confirm" or "cancel" option

That's the way it's implemented. A warning would be annoying because you often have to change your mind. And the right button is used to get out of the screen.

That's fair enough, it's not likely to be a mistake I make again and I probably should have paid more attention to the tutorial screens that popped up!



It would have possibly been nice to have a circled red X or cancel radio button on there rather than left click anywhere but I may just be being a little picky.

In most games I have played, you can freely change the later items in your queue, because no resources have been spent yet. However, I consider it a bug to have no warning appear when you delete a partly-built item in your queue. This would be the first one, but not always if you have just started filling the queue this turn. If you are going to waste resources because of one click, there should be a warning.
