AI Race Colours

Sorry for such a simple question, but is there anyway to change the colours assigned to your AI opponents?

Also, would it be possible for more colours to be added as some are quite similar and I have a bit of trouble telling them apart (The two shades of green for example)

Yes, before creating a party, you can choose every faction color.

You can change the AI colours when you first set the game up, in the same way you would pick your own colour, but as far as I know you cannot change them mid-game.

Thanks, I dont quite know how I missed that option but that has made my life easier

The game kept assigning the A.I the two shades of green and off yellow, which to my eyes are pretty much the same.

Faction flags would be a great help

Once in the game though, enemy ships show up as their selected colour, and I fing them easier to tell apart than in the menu.

Maybe mesh icons of the faction over the fleets, that could also help differentiate.

It could also be added to planets and colonies. (Something like an outpost sign and full fledged colony) - to help you pick where you want to invade =D
