Hey



I've played a lot of games before I purchased this game, and I have always wondered what the Random Galaxy Seed Generation is? At the moment I have it ticked but I have no clue what it actually means. I also have the Galaxy Seed Generation set to 0 but again I'm not sure what it means.



If anyone could shine a light on this, I would be gratefull.

Seed is a value used to initialize random number generator. So you will always get only galaxy with the same seed.

A seed is what will help the game to create the universe.

The advantage is that a seed will always create the sam euniverse (so you can create score competition with your friends or just play a universe you like)

map id #'s in other games are usually found when you open the menu or options screen. i haven't noticed such an identifier in ES yet. any insights on this?
