I just played a game of endless space. it ended very dissapointingly with a faction getting an economic victory that i had no idea the a.i. faction was even close to getting. I was wondering if a bar or other thing to show how far the other factions are on compleating certain victory conditions would be inplemented.

you can do it in the diplomacy screen if you have contact to the other race.

in the info screen you see the "points" of that race so u can say more how strong it is actually.

Does anyone know more about the how and why of this score? Is it equally devided amongst population/research/industry/science/militairy?

I do look at those scores a lot to know what enemies I'm dealing with, but it doesn't tell me much...
