I noticed the alpha (very fun and runs reasonably well save the dead AI bug I have) states that only 5 of the 8 races are currently available. Will all 8 be available upon beta or release? Or will they go the way of dlc (I am hoping not unless they are reasonably priced)?

The remaining 3 will definitely be in the final product, so don't worry about being nickel-and-dimed there. As for whether or not they'll be in the beta, that remains to be seen.



I for one do believe that they will be in the beta, since by that point most games are finished or near-finished in terms of features and the stage is predominantly for debugging and balancing.

AmpliMath confirmed that the remaining races are going to be in the Beta. So if all goes according to plan we should be able to see and play them soon. Thread closed/
