I have discovered Redsang and Bluecap Mold. They are shown in the resources window of every star system (unless under blockade). With this two resources, as I understand, I should get +2 food per pop. However I only get +1 on the planet that actually has that recourse. All the other planets, as far as I can tell, are unaffected. Am I missing something?

It`s an overview for you, if you`re going for monopoly. So you directly know how many you`ll need e.g. if you trade with another race.

Resources work only for the planet you've got per pop and instance of the resource (2 deposits on one planet, twice the effect), unless stated otherwise (+x% on sth. for empire, e.g.) before you get a monopoly (4 deposits or more in your empire). In the latter case, you get a special monopoly bonus for the resource that works for your whole empire.
