I've known about engines and Sensors from the scout, repair moduals are need to me but the main question is how the hell do I install those moduals onto my ships. Outside from the scout that comes with engine and sensors and that I can sometimes get the better versions of them by hitting auto-update if I am lucky how to I install them my self? The game must think I am crazy by now from all the key combos I am pushing to try and find the secret engine selection screen.

The support window you can scroll down, unlike weapons and defenses that are just complete in and of themselves with nothing below the third and final one if you just scroll your mouse wheel down whilst on it will show engines, sensors and some other bits as well.
