I researched the destroyer and I couldnt find the design where is it at? I also researched the other ones and nothing.

You need to go to the ship design screen and click to add a design. There is a box with all the hull designs you can choose from, and it will have Transport (ignore this), Corvette, and Destroyer as your three options; you can later add Cruisers, Battleships, and Dreadnoughts. Once you've selected a hull type, add the modules you want and save the design.
