I have created some new ship class types in the XML, I can see them in the tech tree(tech to unlock them), however, they are not shown up in the ship modification interface.

In the game, if a player want to create a new ship prototype, he/she have to select a ship class type first. however, only the six "built-in" ship class types are shown to the player.

I wonder if there is a way to add my new ship class types there.

You should ask Hupa, I'm pretty sure he's already added some new ships for Endless Dream.

How do you make more than six ship class types appear, even if we re-use existing graphics?



Another way to read the answer is, "If the change you want to make is anything different than changing the eight image files listed in this PDF, it is not possible". That is probably true, but let us make sure.
