What. Just what. Mods have been around long before Steam Workshop was even though of. Counter Strike was a mod and it worked. If you actually checked the forums, you would see how much modding is supported, even with a "shopping mall".

The problem is, the shopping mall is HERE, not on any steam forum. Most steam players don't come on this site and may not realize it exist.

Unfortunately, Endless Space does not have its own Steam Workshop: it would require too much dev time, which we do not have but we agree this could be a great thing to add in the future. People interested in mods / modding will most likely Google and find Endless Space's ModDB page or these very forums, or even post a thread on the Steam forums where they will get plenty of suggestions.
