I was wondering if there was a way to change the models of the faction's ships. Specifically I want to replace some of the Pilgrim's ships with the Craver's vessels. I would also like to know if it is possible to change only a single class of ships i.e. the Dreadnaughts or if you must change all of the ships of that faction.
currently you can change the appearance of one faction to another, by making a custom faction, use the "appearance" drop down to select the appearance you want. all your ships will look like that race, but you can't pick and choose specific classes.
if you want to build ships with different faction appearence, then i don't know how, but if you just want a few at the start, you may change the hulls in shipdesign.xml. i haven't tried, but it looks possible.
