I start up the game and on the main menu, it won't let me press any buttons. I've connected an external mouse, reinstalled the game, and verified the integrity, and it won't work. If anyone can help me with this I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

I have the same problem. I have tried the same things as you. I wonder if it has to do with the new OS Sonoma.
