The only resemblance that I notice is the sloped downside which starts from the rear section of the LoGH ship while on the Craver ships it ends there and starts from the front section. This is a pretty subtle resemblance and if you look closer into the details it becomes obvious how different both ships are.
I think you're finding coincidental relationships and labeling them as deeply connected.
They don't appear to have very much in common; it's like taking an AK-47 and a shotgun and saying they're extremely similar only because they both have a trigger.
