Going by what has 100+ hours on my list. (Probably tons more because of my old acc getting hacked in the day)

-Counter-Strike: GO - 726 shameful hours of being tryhard.

-Garry's Mod - 405 hours (With my old account around 3000, as that was the only game I really had back on my old acc)

-FINAL FANTASY XIV:ARR - 318 hours

-NEOTOKYO° - 233 since release (about 3500 hrs when adding the pre-release mod hours ontop)

-Warframe - 221 hours

-CS:S - 199 hours (about 1000 with old acc)

-CoD:MW2 - 123 hours (I know it's CoD... But it can help killing time =P)

-ArmA 2: OA - 117 hours (Way more due to DayZ and other mods launching outside of Steam)

-Terraria - 106 hrs

And welp, that's it!

1) HoMM IV and HoMM V - unknown amount of hours but probably close to 1k (especially including the time in map editor) :3

2) No idea.

3) No clue.

4) ???

...

...

...

가) ES - 389 hours (steam confirmed hour highscore)

나) L4D - 240 hours (steam confirmed hour highscore)

다) EL - 232 hours (steam confirmed hour highscore)

Honestly, my list might actually look exactly like it does right now. I don't usually spend hundreds of hours in video games. Only 4 of the I played for more then 200 on steam and I have less then 10 games with more then 100 hours put in. As for non-steam games, well, HoN (I'd guess I played it for ~400ish hours), the first StarCraft, C&C: Generals, C&C3 and AoE2 are probably also somewhere on that list.

Haha that's typical.

Then it's anywhere from two tweaks to two months of hardcore Skyrim playing until I burn myself out.

And not once have I finished the main story XD

It's awesome to read this in the second post. Guild Wars is the best video game ever made in my eyes. I have no way to measure the time I sank into it over the years but it must be several thousand.

I was disappointed how Guild Wars 2 worked out, though.

My most played games are TF2 and Terraria, with over 1000 and 500 hours respectively. Funny how a f2p game without "p2w" aspects is my all-time favorite. I don't know the exact hour counts, though, I'm not at a computer with steam at the moment. Good topic though smiley: smile

According to Steam:

1. Age of Wonders 3

2. Skyrim

3. Empire: Total War

4. Endless Legend

5. Pillars of Eternity

Non steam games that would certainly be top 10 and probably be up there or even higher: Fallout 3, Morrowind, Crash Team Racing, other Total War games, Age of Empires, HoMM V, Fifa...

Team fortress 2 must be the game i played the most in my entire life. The other must be:

-beyond good and evil (i have finished this game at least a hundred time with 100% completed, can't wait for the sequel)

-warcraft 3 (frozen throne included)

-guild wars faction (the only MMORPG i actually like)

-cave story (I spend days on the hell level)

Unreal Tournament 99, easily, played mostly everyday for about 3 years. I can´t have fun with any other FPS now because they´re all so slow and easy (unless im trying my mouse hand on a videogame controller). Although, there is a new Unreal Tournament, running on Unreal Engine 4, which is totally awesome, community developed and free - have been playing it quite a lot lately.

On steam - well, these numbers are probably not very factual since I leave games open when I´m away an awful amount of times, but I only have 3 games in my own account:

Civilization 5 - 1403 hours

Endless Legend - 1326 hours

War Thunder (f2p WW2 planes fps) - 1111 hours

I also played a huge amount of Warcraft 3, both melee maps and the custom ones which gave origin to DotA, Lol and etc.

I am very thankful Minecraft does not have a counter of the number of hours spent in-game, otherwise I'd probably be somewhere in the thousands. My highest number of hours on Steam is R.U.S.E, on which AmpliMath and Spacetroll worked before founding Amplitude. Coincidence? I think not. smiley: stickouttongue

Endless Space clocks in 2nd place. smiley: science

I guess my top 5 would be

League of Legends

Counter-Strike: Source

Team Fortress 2

World of Warcraft

Final Fantasy X

The last four are from my teenage years. Recently it's been pretty much all League, well over a thousand hours in it

It Could be any game from Call of Duty to Civilization.

Chose your top three most played. (If you have Steam it should keep track of your hours on any game you have bought off of Steam otherwise just estimate.)

for me it is...
• Terraria: at 600+ hours.
  • Minecraft: estimated 300+ hours.
  • Age of Empires 2: 60+ on Steam around 100 off Steam.

  •
This is an interesting question, and a hard one.

I have only had steam for, well a few days short of a year... but during that year my most player games on steam would be...

    Terraria 180 h

    Rogue's Tale 99 h

    Tales of Maj'Eyal 89 h

But I dare say that outside this my list would be very different.

the amount of hours is completely unknown, but the list would contain titles like -

the sims (series, 1,2,3), the Elderscrolls games (morrowind, oblivion, skyrim) and good old pokemon.

in some order or another. I have been a console player a long time...

I've played a lot of games in my time but...

    1. World of Warcraft: 3,000+ hours

    2. Team Fortress 2: 1,600 hours

    Newest addition...

    3. Dungeon of the Endless: 100ish

I always enjoy a game that requires a fair amount of time input. Whether it be to meet a skill ceiling or attain a certain status, the "mastery" aspect is definitely an appeal. Granted there's never quite enough time to be "the best" but it's always fun to at least try to roll with the elite players. TF2 was an amazing run for me, had a ton of fun with the pub regulars - I currently don't have access to any good hardware so I don't play much anymore. Dungeon of the Endless seems to float my boat these days smiley: smile

I have a LOT of hours in Champions Online.

    I think I am at 300 hours Anno 2070.

Previously I had loads of hours in Morrowind, Alpha Centauri, Warlords Battlecry, Startopia, Magic of Endoria and Freelancer.

I have several hundred hours on Dungeon of the Endless.

But due to offline Steam modes or older games not having a counter, who knows smiley: smile

Playstation in the tv console for me. I've played the fist, the second and still own and use the third and forth.

On the other hand, the xbox game pad is rather comfortable to use for the pc - and I disliked xbox at first for their controller.... ha ha.

But I'm happy with playstation so it'll have to do.

I've also owned a few versions of gameboy, starting with a gameboy color in 1998 I think. ... And now that I think about it, growing up we had a nintendo 8-bit unit to play on. I liked hunting ducks... I didn't like the frog game. Never made it past the seconds level. But a game called swords and serpents was fun. and shadowgate of course.

    3) Football Manager 2011 - 505 Hours

    5) Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - 378 Hours

    6) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - 258 Hours

    7) Football Manager 2013 - 240 Hours (probably the worst FM I ever played)

    8) Path of Exile - 201 Hours

    9) Endless Space - 191 Hours (yaay smiley: biggrin )

    10) Crusader Kings II - 91 Hours

    These are just Steam games.

I also think that I played Diablo 3 around 300 hours. And Dragon Age Origins more than 500 hours(when it first came out I was literally playing it 18 hours a day). And although I don't like current TW games that much I think I played Rome Total War and Medieval 2 Total War for around 1000 Hours. RTW has to be the first game I actually bought.

    2. Elder Scroll series - 400+ hours

    3. Civilization series - 400+ hours (close call between nr 2.)

    4. Dungeon Siege 2 took quite a few hours away from me back in the day.

    1. SimCity4-Ehh tight race with Railroad Tycoon series...

    2. Football Manager 2013

    3. Heh tied yet still yet to find a new one to bypass #1

    4. Mostly by Gerne as right now sorta liking Warframe, although its rather bizarre because i was never very interested in that genre... maybe just got bored of lost the challenge with them And ofcourse CIV: BE was a major letdown, considering as heard from others Alpha Centari was so much better... SO now its EL that is my 4x Fix!

    Part Deux

Consoles? ehh yah idk theres alot and getting them is no more a viable means. Sega and playstation-2, afterthat went mostly due to PC. yet did get a Ps3 for Armored core series... alas ive yet to find any decent model with the same action for PC as of late

Oh dear, bringing a "What are your gameplay hours?" thread back from the dead after eight.  I wonder if anyone who posted there is still around and can see how many hours they've added in the last eight years.  *scream* ?

My most played games are Endless Legend, Humankind, Planet Coaster (most of these hours are my kids using my account), Cities Skylines, and Endless Space 2.  Honorable mentions to Horizon Zero Dawn and Swords of Ditto, which have decent hours but less replayability.

Gaming has been a big part of my life for many years. I've tried countless different kinds, but the games I return to most often are competitive and cooperative multiplayer games. From dynamic battle royale games to classic first-person shooters, these are the games that keep me hooked with both their challenge and social fun factor. Also after I read this article https://casinoallianz.com/online-casinos/google-pay-casinos/ I became interested in slots, which are very convenient to play with Google Pay.  Playing with friends involves teamwork, innovative tactics, heated arguments and lots of laughter, creating an unforgettable shared experience while facing off against other teams or single players. For me, these types of games have proven to be the ones that I just can't stop playing because of their deep involvement and replayability.

So here are my top games:

    1. Overwatch 2

    2. Rainbow Six Siege

    3. Battlefield 1, 5, 2042

P.S. It's very difficult to count the hours specifically, because I played on PC for a very long time, then on PS4, and now on PS5.

Some games I can look for time played on steam, but many I can only estimate, as it was either before the days of steam, or that I played offline even when bought on steam or bought via gog which needs no online launcher (they have one, but it's not mandatory, but a choice to use that one).

    • Civilization (the first one on amiga commodore 600) - Years and years
    • Civilization IV - Years and years until Civ V
    • Civilization V - 2089 hrs The only civ game I would still play, since I don't like civ VI much
    • Humankind - Approximately 800 hrs split between open, semi-open and closed alpha, beta etc. Then +380 hrs of the retail version since November 2022 (been away from gaming for 1 to 1 1/2 years due to personal reasons). So a total of approximately 1180 hrs of Humankind (so far, but that's just the start of it, I'm hoping to play a lot more).
    • Heroes Of Might And Magic/ HoMM II - Years And Years until HoMM III
    • Heroes Of Might And Magic / HoMM III - Years And Years (the one I played the most of in the series)
    • Heroes Of Might And Magic / HoMM IV - Years And Years (the one I played the second most of in the series)
    • Pool of Radiance (back on amiga commodore 600) - Later even for some time on PC
    • Death Knights Of Krynn (back on amiga commodore 600) - Later even for some time on PC
    • Battle Isle (back on amiga commodore 600) - Years And Years
    • Battle Isle 2 (back on amiga commodore 600) - Years And Years
    • History Line 1914-1918 (back on amiga commodore 600) - Years And Years
(fun fact, battle isle 1, 2 and history line 1914-1918 were the first computer games I played which already back in early 90's had the same hexagon and combat system which later civ series adopted in 2010 in civilization v, more or less exactly the same combat system)
    • Ultima Online / UO (starting already in beta testing back in 1996, after release on atlantic server and later on europa server, as well as some non official servers) - Years And Years
    • The Lord Of The Rings Online / LoTRO - On and off since early access back in 2007 (I was already signed up on the original web-site called middle-earth online, before it became lotro, I have even participated in some testing of expansions during the years). Now I have not played LoTRO since about 2+ years since I felt lootboxes, microtransaction and such started to take over and ruin the game way too much for me to have fun.
    • Civilization VI - According to Steam 861 hrs, but a big chunk of that was my son playing it, until I got it for him on his own Steam account when I figured he was old enough to be online without supervision. I never liked Civ VI. Tried it again a few times after various updates and DLC's, but I still do not like it at all.
    • Star Trek Online / STO - For a while. Took many years break. Tried again years later but it was way too heavily monetized to be fun.
    • Star Wars The Old Republic / SWTOR - 60 days. basically only during the pre-paid time that came with the large collectors edition.
    • RIFT - Only during some test phases. Never played it after it went live
    • Guild Wars / GW 2 - From release and a couple of years (I was even in testing of heart of thorns, but didn't like the way the game was heading with that expansion, so I stopped playing after that expansion was released and testing was over)

Above I've listed some of the games I remember the most. Probably forgotten plenty as well. Some have been true favourites of mine. I have also played many other random games dating back to the arcades with Sprint 1 and Sprint 2 (sprint 1 was the solo player version, on sprint 2 you could play 2 players), Space Invaders, Asteroids etc, as well as consoles in the 70's and 80's. Amiga Commodore 600 in the late 80's early 90's. Then PC since MS DOS and later Win 95. Various other consoles. I still have my old Philips VideoPac G7000 console from the 70's (I think it was called magnavox in the us), PS2, XBox 360, as well as my Amiga Commodore 600 and they are still working to this day.

These are not personal images of my machines. Just pictures I found online of the same machines I still have working to this day.

My Amiga Commodore 600 even has an extra external floppy diskdrive (beside the built in one on the side), as well as switch with expands it's RAM from 500kb to 1MB. Woah, the raw power. :P
(again not my personal picture below, just an example picture of an amiga commodore 600)

    • A few other new and old games I can remember off the top of my head are Chivalry 2 (bought recently when on 50% sale over Christmas, but only played like 9.3 hrs, I find it fun to relax with when not wanting to use my brain too much), Songs Of Conquest (a very good game in the style of heroes of might and magic), Wartales (one of the games I have bought recently, but not played yet)Warlords, Warlords II, Command And Conquer (the first one back on a win 95 pc), Dune, Dune II, Dune 2000, Sim City, Ports Of Call, Railroad Tycoon, Pirates Gold, Sid Meier's Colonization, The Settlers, Caesar (I can't remenber 100% which ones, but I think almost certainly caesar III), Anno 1602, Age Of Empires (the early one wololololo), Legends Of Eisenwald, Eisenwald: Blood Of November, Bastard, Fallout I and II, Master Of Orion I, II and III (1996-2003)as well as the latest from 2016 only called Master Of Orion, Tropico series (except tropico 6), Warcraft I-III, Lemmings, Millennium 2.2, Wipeout, X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter, Wing Commander, Age Of Wonders series, Disciples series, Ultima series, Might And Magic series (the rpg series which heroes of might and magic series was based upon), EVE Online, Dark Age Of Camelot / DAoC, Age Of Conan, Galactic Civilizations, Warlock, Warlock II, Etherlords II, Pool Of Radiance 2, HoMM I, V, VI and VII, Civilization II and III, Of course I have all the Amplitude Endless games, Legend, Space 1 and 2, as well as Dungeon, but I can't say I have played all of them alot, not near as much as I have played Humankind, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 (back on ps2), Need For Speed Underground (back on ps2)The Lord Of The Rings The Third Age (back on ps2)Lords Of The Realm I and II, Utopia: The Creation of a Nation on Amiga back in the early 90's, which was the game that made me like the classical piece by "Pachelbel - Canon In D Major". It had a midi version made by Barry Leitch of that classical piece playing in the game. It took me years, back in the 90's, to finally find what musical piece it was. Not until I heard a female piano player in a hotel bar play the tune is when I finally found someone to ask what the name of it was. She wrote it's name on a piece of napkin for me.

Link ---> Utopia: The Creation Of A Nation On Amiga (start at 26:19 for that music piece)

Oh, the list of games could go on.

I still have most of the games in their original physical boxes and some of them are the collectors editions as well. Like I still have my original Ultima Online large black box, with a cloth map of Britannia in it and all kinds of goodies. My entire Heroes Of Might And Magic collection, Civilization Series collection (I might have lost my original civilization 1 box on amiga, but I still have pc game versions of all boxes from civ II and onwards). Same with LoTRO, both the Shadows Of Angmar Large Collectors Edition (looks like a book), as well as the smaller Special Collectors Edition along with 2x Lifetime and Founder Packs and stuff. 2x Mines of Moria Collectors Editions. Age Of Wonders III Collectors, Civ V and VI Collectors. GW2 Collectors with Rytlock statue in it. SWTOR Collectors with Darth Malgus statue in it etc. Yes, even 2 copies of the physical Humankind Steel-box. Some games I have rebought on Steam and GOG, since the old box versions will not run on newer O/S (but not played them so much after I rebought them). I have always been a collectors (a nicer word for hoarder, I guess) of stuff I'm into.

For example (a bit off topic), I also still have my old die-cast Dinky Toys Space: 1999 Eagles I had as toys when I was a kid, as well as a lot of Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek etc stuff from back in the 70's and 80's. Old plastic model kits, magazines, board games, bubblegum cards, action figures, old movie posters etc. Tons of movies on both VHS, DVD and blu-ray. Even vinyl album soundtracks and audio stories. Still buying some new stuff, like some Black Series Star Wars helmets (not all, but like stormtrooper, boba fett, manadalorian and I have pre-ordered clonetrooper phase II helmet to be relased in spring 2023) and some newer spaceship models from Sixteen 12 and Eaglemoss, as well as newer plastic model kits. Like I said, "collector" is just a nicer word for being a hoarder. :)

However I do like to keep it all a bit organized, in book shelves or in rows on shelves in my closets. I can usually find whatever I'm looking for. Unless it's some older stuff which are packed in boxes in the basement storage.

Oh well, I hope that was a detailed enough list. Since I've been playing games from long before Steam, I don't have all that detailed info on how long I have played most games. Even many games I have played over the last decade has also not been via steam. Usually via the various games own launchers like Codemaster/Turbine/Standing Stones, Cryptic etc. Many games just directly on my PC with no online launchers. Even those on steam I have many times played offline when available. To know how much I have played for example games like LoTRO I would have to d/l and insall it again (which I have no interest in), log into it and add up /playedtime over all characters on multiple accounts. Still that would not account for all the early years when the servers were located in Europe and operated by Codemasters, before the European accounts were ported to Turbine servers in the US.

Another example would be Heroes Of Might And Magic / HoMM III. I have the original physical big boxes, also the expansions. I played it a lot on one of my old PC's. Unfortunetly those will not run anymore on newer O/S like Win 10. I then rebought the HoMM III HD version on Steam some years ago, but it is not the complete edition. It lacks content. I then bought the complete edition on Ubisoft. Then later found the complete edition on GOG where it requires no launcher and you d/l all the game files and install on your PC directly and play offline. Like owning your games back in the old days. I bought it again via GOG. So it would be impossible to figure out my time played in such games.

    Edit: I almost forgot,

    • Detroit - I think I still have that too in it's original Box somewhere in the closet, the Amiga version. From 1994. You run an automobile company, invent new upgrades, design and market new car models.

I also like to play since I was young video games but lately I found some articles about online casinos and was very happy to give it a try especially when you don't have to deposit any money in advance, you can try without risking anything, I found this article very helpful https://www.wisergamblers.com/ca/no-deposit/ will keep on reading and learning how to claim more similar to this one.

Hmmm, is that perhaps a spambot, trying to promote online casino? What you think @Daarkarrow or someone else in staff?

I certainly will not risk following that link. :)

You know where report button is?

Done. Thank you for the reminder.

I actually did it that way since I took inspiration by this post: https://community.amplitude-studios.com/amplitude-studios/endless-dungeon/forums/1-off-topic/threads/455-favorite-amplitude-game?page=5#post-345443 where a spambot seemed to have been reported with a comment.
