that is unusual, do you have a save file? A setup information? Settings information? Have you tried lowering settings?

Well no, since the problem ain't gamechanging.Just a tipp for devs that there might be a bug. 

I second this. Huge fps drops then slowly stabilizing. The sound follows with it by turning all static-y. Settings on highest and my rig isn't all that bad either. Only happens in wonder claiming and sometimes during diplomacy, especially after turn 100 or so
