It seems that for each type of file we try and attach/upload to the forums, there's a different file size limit. Obviously this is there to prevent abuse, but there's a problem. The file size limit for a .txt file is 19.5KB. Most DxDiag files are much larger than that.



Could we get an increase in the .txt file size limitation to something around 50-75 KB? Maybe a general review of other file size limitations might be in order too.

I agree with Strand. I have seen very few PDF files 19.5 KiB or less in the computer world. When I tried to upload one, I was surprised to find out that it was too large at the paltry size of 58 KiB. And there weren't even any images included in the file! It was simply a conversion of an ODT (Open Document Text) file!

We will look into this as well. It all depends on what Amplitude needs. I for one think that its cool that we have a forum where we can upload stuff to regardless. smiley: smile
