It's usually not my style to dig out threads older than a month, especially not if the thread is the second oldest one on a subforum. But since there is no other thread with this I suppose it can't hurt to share my opinion, especially since I found my way here from a newer thread.

I'm kind of surprised to see only one making a suggestion for the award name here.

And I feel compelled to make an obviously stupid, yet fitting suggestion. Where there are Space Ninjas, there gotta be Space Pirates as well. But as I see the award isn't in place yet anyway.

And just to ask out of curiosity, will there be an award for being one of the waterdroplets flooding in with steam?

Skamaks: I suggest "Antediluvian" for the award. "Before the deluge" (deluge means flood) which is sadly enough a biblical connection but it works in this context. This reference in this context just means "Members that were here before the great flood of other members"

The users called VIPs are a very small group of people we contacted at an earlier stage (used to game development or with a solid enough gaming experience) to discuss very detailed topics in terms of game design and gameplay.

You can consider them as a first filter before the topics come up to these forums. They of course had to sign terrific legal documents with their own blood as they have access to some very confidential info about the game.

They all come from different horizons, community leaders, modders, dev tem friends, people at various positions in the gaming industry, etc… and are here to help us make the best game possible.



But hey get this right:

- Non-VIP proposals, comments and feedback are as important and taken into account.

- VIPs have exactly the same status as other members, they just have access to more info.

- That doesn’t mean the VIP list is closed and that we won’t accept new members. We will certainly propose to most active members to join the VIP group.



One more thing, all the people that joined us this first month will also get a special “keener award” (if you have other proposals for the name, be our guests)

So we’ll always keep in mind you were here to help us start the engines!



One more thing, this whole GAME2GETHER project is something fundamental for our studio. We wanted to start this as soon as possible, even before our first game is finished which can be seen as risky for a brand new studio.

We of course had to start the development of our game earlier on as we needed to build the studio and the dev team around something tangible and we don’t have an unlimited budget.

However, we hope to develop the G2G concept on the long run and hope that you’ll be able to help us finish and make this first game better and make us avoid mistakes.

xord we are known to the dev team from difrrant places and have been asked to help. I dont like beeing called vip, Im just a stupid perosn that uses to muche time on the foums. In other words dont worry about it.
