Anchors in posts

HTML anchors are links that allow you to jump to a specific place within a document. This is very handy for long documents that have headings or other sections of interest to the reader. Typically, the top of the document contains a set of links to each section, and you need only to click one of those links to jump to the desired location on the page.




it is not possible to link to posts inside a topic without opening a New window (or tab).

So here's my suggestion:

Make it possible to link to a place inside the thread, and let the browser scroll down to the corresponding post

I don't know the difficulty of implementing this feature, but this feature will become increasing helpful as the forum receives more and more guide/help posts that get longer in length smiley: smile
