I just purchased Endless Legend Classic Edition (Retail Box/DVD) via Amazon. (Haven't received it yet - it's going to take about 4-5 weeks to arrive).

My questions:

1- Are the DLCs and Expansions only available via Steam? And if so, how do I go about buying/using them if I only have the Retail DVD?

2- I see that Steam has a "Retail / Digital CD Keys" list for supported games, but Endless Legend is not on it... Basically, I'm really worried that I might be SoL (in regards to the DLCs and Expansions) and would have to purchase the game again via Steam in order to buy/use the extra content?

3- How do I get the Updates? Are they automatically patched when you install the game?

1. For EL, yes, as far as I know (as opposed to ES, where Disharmony is also available at retail - I bought them separately)

2. The CD-key inside the DVD case delivered by Amazon should work with Steam just fine. Mine did ^^

3. Yes, once you register your CD-key with Steam, you'll get the chance to download the latest version of the game. Steam will also patch the game automatically for you.

Thank you very much! I'm so relieved to hear that the CD Key will work on Steam! That makes my other questions/concerns moot, thank goodness. Heh. :P



I wonder why Endless Legends is not on their list? I had a real "oh crap" moment when I didn't see it there...
